Chardonnay, new to our product range! Planted in 2020 and now the second „maiden harvest.“.
The Chardonnay vine belongs to the large family of Burgundy grape varieties. What's special about our Chardonnay is its Franconian character. This Chardonnay was grown in the well-known Iphofen vineyard, the Kronsberg. A special microclimate combined with an extremely long vegetation period allows the vines to absorb many minerals from the dark Keuper soil. This gives the wine its own unique character.
